Africa is a continent abundant with various natural resources.

It's no surprise that Western powers once colonized African countries to satisfy their insatiable greed.

Here is a list of natural resources found in some African countries from the past to the present:

- South Africa: gold, diamonds, platinum, coal, and chromium
- Ghana: gold, bauxite, and manganese
- Nigeria: oil and gas, tin, gemstones such as tantalite, and metals
- Congo: coltan, cobalt, copper, and diamonds
- Botswana: diamonds, nickel, and copper
- Namibia: uranium, diamonds, and zinc
- Zambia: copper and cobalt
- Angola: oil and gas, diamonds
- Zimbabwe: platinum, gold, and chromium
- Tanzania: gold, tanzanite, and salt
- Guinea: bauxite
- Mozambique: coal and natural gas
- Mali: gold
- Sudan: gold and oil

Despite this wealth of resources, most African countries remain impoverished and underdeveloped.

What has gone wrong that such an abundance of natural resources, bestowed by Allah, cannot be effectively utilized to develop and advance these nations?
